International CATALISI project - visit to the UG Main Library

On 10 April, the Main Library of the University of Gdańsk hosted participants of the international CATALISI project, led by Dr Sebastian Susmarski from the Faculty of Management at UG. This is a project that aims to work towards accelerating the transformation of partner universities in various areas.  

As part of the session Public engagement with and outreach to society to solve social challenges, specifically open science practices, Agnieszka Wasilewska from the Research Data Management and Open Science Department presented the Library's activities related to promoting open science. 

In the next part of the meeting, the guests attended a display of the most valuable cartographic collections held by the UG Library. It was prepared and hosted by the Curator of Special Collections - Adam Jurkowski. Judging by the series of questions asked during the presentation, the show was very popular with the guests.
